Code of Conduct Baltic Interim Managers Association
As members of the Baltic Interim Managers Association (BIMA), we commit to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and responsibility in all our actions and engagements. This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations that guide our work as interim leaders across the Baltics.
1. Professional Integrity
• We act honestly, transparently, and in the best interest of our clients.
• We deliver on promises and avoid overcommitting.
• We disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a mandate.
2. Client-Centric Focus
• We prioritize the success of the client organization and its long-term sustainability.
• We tailor solutions to the specific needs and context of each client.
• We maintain confidentiality and always protect sensitive information.
3. Competence & Continuous Development
• We only accept assignments aligned with our skills and experience.
• We actively pursue professional development and remain up to date with industry trends, tools, and leadership practices.
• We seek and give feedback to continuously improve.
4. Collaboration & Respect
• We treat clients, colleagues, and partners with respect, fairness, and openness.
• We promote diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity in all our engagements.
• We share knowledge and support the growth of the interim management profession in the region.
5. Independence & Objectivity
• We maintain an objective and independent perspective, especially during complex transitions or change processes.
• We avoid personal gain at the expense of the client’s interests.
6. Contribution to the Interim Community
• We support the mission of the Baltic Interim Managers Association to strengthen the profession and increase awareness of interim leadership in the region.
• We always represent the Association with integrity and professionalism.
Violations of this Code may result in review of membership status by the BIMA board.
By joining the Association, each member agrees to uphold this Code in spirit and in action.
