What is interim management?
Interim management is the appointment of an experienced leader for a defined period and an agreed business objective. The interim works inside the organisation, takes responsibility for delivery and hands over the results when the assignment ends. It can support a leadership gap, business growth or a change programme.
How does BIA support businesses in the Baltics?
The Baltic Interim Association connects a professional community across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and helps businesses explore interim leadership. Start by describing your challenge, the leadership experience needed and your preferred timing. Availability, suitability and terms are confirmed for each enquiry; a placement is not guaranteed.
How do I become a BIA member?
There are two qualification routes: successfully complete the BIA certification programme, or submit three leadership case studies for review. The programme is currently in development, so the case-study route is available for membership applications now. Membership becomes active after BIA approves eligibility and confirms payment of the annual membership invoice.
Are membership and certification the same?
No. Membership provides access to the BIA community and practical assignment toolkit. BIA Certified Interim is a separate assessed qualification. A membership payment or a successful case-study review does not by itself award the certified badge.
