A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Your questions,
answered.

How do I qualify for individual membership?

Qualify by successfully completing the BIA certification programme or by having three leadership case studies reviewed. The programme is in development; applications through the case-study route are available now. BIA confirms eligibility first, then issues the membership invoice. Access activates once payment is confirmed.

How much does individual BIA membership cost?

The standard annual individual membership fee is €249. A joining rate of €179 is available through 31 December 2026. The current rate is shown on this page. Corporate membership and certification are separate arrangements; their prices are not included in the individual membership fee.

When do I receive my login and toolkit access?

Account setup instructions are sent to your application email after eligibility approval and payment confirmation. Use your own account to access the private toolkit and save worksheet answers. If you have paid but cannot sign in, contact BIA with the email address used for your application.

Is the certification programme included in membership?

No. Certification is a separate programme and purchase, with its own learning and professional assessment requirements. The content is currently being prepared and enrolment is not open. Membership through the case-study route does not award the certified qualification.

Can a company become a BIA member?

Yes, corporate membership is a separate category. Contact BIA to discuss the organisation, its interests and the appropriate arrangement. The individual annual price on this page should not be used as a corporate quotation.

Will my membership renew automatically?

Renewal is confirmed separately. The current invoice-based process does not charge a card automatically. Contact BIA before your membership expires to confirm continuation and the applicable annual fee.
